Bio: Ken Kline was born on March 19th, 1968 in Warren, Ohio. He was raised and educated in Newton Falls, Ohio. He wed his wife Tonya in 1991. They have proudly raised six beautiful children together and have three grandchildren. He is the former pastor of the Newton Falls Assembly of God Church. The Mayor is currently employed as a field representative for Morgan Services located in Boardman, Ohio.

In the last several days, we have had a rash of symptomatic employees, warnings of potential positives, and worse, positive Covid tests. Further details cannot be released. In addition, the Coronavirus is rapidly marching across the state with little to impede it.
Therefore, caution dictates that because of this recent severe surge in the virus here in Newton Falls and throughout the State, Council meetings can be attended and participated in by the public only through Zoom Meetings until further notice. Please see the Council Agenda for Zoom instructions.

Regular meetings are typically held on the First and Third Monday’s of each month. At 6 PM the City Council Meeting will begin at 612 West Broad. Because of the State limit of 10 persons per indoor gathering, the public will only be able to observe the meeting through livestream on Facebook, Youtube, and Spectrum Channel 1023.
Any member of the public wishing to speak must text to 330-770-2833, giving your name, the number you want called, PLUS A REQUEST TO SPEAK, and your voice will be piped live into the meeting. Because of the number limit, only one media rep will be permitted into the meeting and the city has designated Bob Coupland of the Tribune Chronicle as the media pool rep. Other media should contact Bob for access to his observations (call 330-841-1738). ALL PUBLIC OFFICIALS IN THE MEETING MUST WEAR MASKS.
Due to an urgent development at the Congregational Church, the Council meeting for November 2, 2020 is hereby canceled.
The building at 612 will be shuttered until sometime later next week.
Utility payments can be placed in the drop box which will be checked 3 times daily.
We will announce the reopening of the building as soon as we are able.
