The Park & Recreation Commission shall consist of three (3) members. The Park & Recreation Commission shall provide for the development, maintenance, and operation of the parks, playgrounds, Community Center and recreational facilities and programs of the City. The Park & Recreation Commission shall have a general policy making authority, subject to the appropriations and approval of Council, and under the supervision of the City Manager.
The Newton Falls Park and Recreation Commission meets on the 4th Tuesday every month from July - September, then every other month starting November at 6:00 p.m. in City Hall, 612 West Broad St. These meetings are open to the public.
