Job Opening
The Village of Newton Falls is accepting applications for an Apprentice Lineman in the Electric Department. Candidates should have some experience with electrical work; but formal work experience is not required. An application can be obtained from and returned to the City Manager’s office located at 612 West Broad Street Newton Falls Ohio 44444. The office is open Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm. Applications will be accepted until May 1, 2025. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.

Applications will be accepted until the seats are filled.

Newton Falls City Council Regular Meetings are held on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Municipal Center.

PUBLIC NOTICE
The Village Council of Newton Falls is accepting applications for the vacant Ward 3 seat. The appointed applicant will serve until a general election can be held for the office. Applicants should email a letter of interest and/or resume to the Clerk of Council at cityclerk@newtonfallsoh.gov. Qualifications for Council are contained in Article III, Section 2 of the Charter for the City of Newton Falls.
Those qualifications are:
- Must have been a resident of Ward 3 of the City of Newton Falls for at least one year preceding the appointment.
Must continue to reside in Ward 3 of the City of Newton Falls and be a qualified elector thereof throughout the entire term of office.
Must not be directly or indirectly interested in the profits or emoluments of any contract, work, or service with or for the City.
Applications will be accepted until 3:00 pm on January 4, 2025.
