Work hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., $18.62 to $20.87 per hour, depending on Qualifications. Must have a valid driver's license, be able to lift 75 lb., and demonstrate basic computer skills. Deadline for accepting applications is August 21, 2026. Newton Falls City Council Regular Meetings are held on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Municipal Center.

PUBLIC NOTICE
The Village Council of Newton Falls is accepting applications for the vacant Ward 3 seat. The appointed applicant will serve until a general election can be held for the office. Applicants should email a letter of interest and/or resume to the Clerk of Council at cityclerk@newtonfallsoh.gov. Qualifications for Council are contained in Article III, Section 2 of the Charter for the City of Newton Falls.
Those qualifications are:
- Must have been a resident of Ward 3 of the City of Newton Falls for at least one year preceding the appointment.
Must continue to reside in Ward 3 of the City of Newton Falls and be a qualified elector thereof throughout the entire term of office.
Must not be directly or indirectly interested in the profits or emoluments of any contract, work, or service with or for the City.
Applications will be accepted until 3:00 pm on January 4, 2025.
