Light Up the Night and Fill Up the Sky

“LIGHT UP THE NIGHT AND FILL UP THE SKY” comes to Newton Falls July 4th Weekend

The City of Newton Falls is pleased to announce that at 9 PM on July 3 at the Newton Falls Municipal Park, you will encounter something very special in addition to the traditional City Festival that features rides, specialty foods, and first-class entertainment.

The 9 o’clock hour this year will feature the unmatched beauty of six hot air balloons anchored throughout the park and illuminated at night to display the spectacular colorful glory of each uniquely designed balloon pattern. This breathtaking sight known as a “NIGHTGLOW” is sure to draw a big crowd so make sure you arrive early.

And don’t forget to set your alarms for early on the morning of July 4 as the balloon pilots plan to launch from our Park and fill the skyline of Newton Falls with a spectacular flight over our community. This balloon launch is scheduled to begin somewhere between 6:15 and 6:45 AM.

Thanks to the 4th of July Committee, the balloonists will also be featured in our 10 O’clock parade on July 4th, blasting their inflation torches up and down Broad Street. They sound like a jet engine and will get your motor going.
