NOTICE:

The Community Center building is undergoing an assessment of its current condition.  Until the assessment is completed and reviewed the building will be CLOSED.  It is anticipated that the assessment and report shall be completed in March.  Once the report is received and reviewed information will be available to the public.

Please note, at this time City Council has made no decision or determination regarding this building.  Please be assured that public input will be encouraged regarding any future plans.

General Information

The Community Center provides a gathering place for the citizens of the southwest Trumbull County area for public and private functions. It serves citizens, both young and old, from Newton Falls and the surrounding communities. It serves as a location for the Nutrition Program which serves approximately 35 walk-in clients each day from Newton Falls, Newton Township, Braceville, and Leavittsburg. In addition to the Nutrition Program, the Community Center also serves as a meeting/gathering place for United We Sit, Dial-A-Ride Program sponsored by the Senior Citizens of Newton Falls Transportation Organization, Trumbull County Health Department Immunizations, Senior Bingo, Kiwanis and Lions Club meetings, Hobby Hunter meetings, Teen Dances, Aerobics, class reunions, showers and receptions.
