The City of Newton Falls is a Charter City that has adopted the Council-Manager form of government. Under the Council-Manager form of government, the Mayor acts as the ceremonial head of the City. Council acts as the legislative body and establishes goals, priorities & policies. And the City Manager manages all of the City's personnel, property & financial resources on a day-to-day basis.

Our goal is to use your tax dollars wisely by applying sound business principals & practices to local municipal government and to treat you, our constituents, as we would want to be treated by our elected & appointed officials.

Your current Mayor, City Council, City Manager and Staff have formed a team to provide the highest possible quality of municipal services at the lowest possible cost to the residents and taxpayers of Newton Falls.
