ELECTRIC SUPERINTENDENT

The operation of the Electric Department consists of the maintenance and upgrading of the electrical system. Electric Department has approximately four miles of 69 Kv transmission line feeding two substations, which are located at Church Street and Warren Road at the Wastewater Treatment Plant. Two circuits exit the Warren Road Substation at 12 Kv. At our Church Street Substation we also have 4 Kv transformers to feed the 4 Kv load. These transformers are the oldest we have and this is the load we are working on to convert to 12 Kv. 12 Kv is a more efficient and economical system. These two transformers are 5 mva and 7.5 mva.
