GENERAL INFORMATION

The Community Center provides a gathering place for the citizens of the southwest Trumbull County area for public and private functions. It serves citizens, both young and old, from Newton Falls and the surrounding communities. It serves as a location for the Nutrition Program which serves approximately 35 walk-in clients each day from Newton Falls, Newton Township, Braceville, and Leavittsburg. In addition to the Nutrition Program, the Community Center also serves as a meeting/gathering place for United We Sit, Dial-A-Ride Program sponsored by the Senior Citizens of Newton Falls Transportation Organization, Trumbull County Health Department Immunizations, Senior Bingo, Kiwanis and Lions Club meetings, Hobby Hunter meetings, Teen Dances, Aerobics, class reunions, showers and receptions.

***  Please be advised that for any rentals of 100 people or more, and for any rentals involving alcohol, CIty Ordinance requires the hiring of a Newton Falls Police Officer to be on duty during the entire rental event.  The charge for the police officer is $30.00 per hour and must be paid in advance of the rental activity.  The Community Center staff will make all arrangements for the police officer to be on duty during the activity.

*** Deposits may be returned depending upon the amount of clean-up required by city staff or any contractual staff that needs to be hired to clean up after an event.
