The City of Newton Falls is a Charter City that has adopted the Council-Manager form of government. Under the Council-Manager form of government, the Mayor acts as the ceremonial head of the City. Council acts as the legislative body and establishes goals, priorities & policies. And the City Manager manages all of the City’s personnel, property & financial resources on a day-to-day basis.
Our goal is to use your tax dollars wisely by applying sound business principals & practices to local municipal government and to treat you, our constituents, as we would want to be treated by our elected & appointed officials.
Your current Mayor, City Council, City Manager and Staff have formed a team to provide the highest possible quality of municipal services at the lowest possible cost to the residents and taxpayers of Newton Falls. We have established an aggressive list of priorities and an ambitious list of goals for the future of Newton Falls!
