City of Newton Falls

RESOLUTION 28-2010 

A RESOLUTION IN APPRECIATION TO ALL VOLUNTEERS, INDIVIDUALS, EMPLOYEES AND CITIZENS INVOLVED WITH THE JULY 4^TH FESTIVITIES. 

            WHEREAS, For many years the City of Newton Falls has enjoyed special events in conjunction with the July 4^th holiday.  The events and activities would not be possible without the dedication of the many volunteers who form the July 4^th Festivities Committees.  The Annual Car Show, Annual Motorcycle Show, Family Fun Days, July 4^th parade, carnival and fireworks display are only a few of the special events that these volunteers make possible in celebration of July 4^th; and 

            WHEREAS, The Newton Falls City Council wishes to show their appreciation to those volunteers, individuals, groups and organizations who put in many hours and tremendous effort into these events so that we can celebrate and enjoy the 4^th of July. 

THE COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF NEWTON FALLS, STATE OF OHIO, HEREBY RESOLVES: 

SECTION I:            Newton Falls City Council recognizes all of the volunteer committees, individuals and organizations who helped once again make the July 4^th holiday special within the City of Newton Falls.  Without the efforts of these volunteers none of the special events around the Fourth of July would be possible. 

SECTION II:            Special thanks and appreciation are hereby given to the July 4^th Festivities Committee, Car Show Committee, Motorcycle Show Committee, Family Fun Day Organizers, Newton Falls Lions Club, Newton Falls Police Department, Reserve Officers, Auxiliary Officers, Newton Falls Electric Department, Newton Falls Maintenance Department and all other City Departments who put time into these events, all groups, organizations and individuals who volunteered time, and personal sacrifices associated with the festivities so that the citizens of Newton Falls and surrounding areas could enjoy and celebrate the 4^th of July.
