RESOLUTION 10- 2010
A RRESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO UTILIZE THE 2009 FORD EXPLORER.
WHEREAS, Pursuant to the City Manager’s contract, the City is required to provide the City Manager with a vehicle that he can utilize as described in Section 6 of that contract; and
WHEREAS, Council has determined that the vehicle designated for use by the City Manager is in very poor condition and is a potential liability issue; and
WHEREAS, City Council has authorized, in Resolution 02-2009, the lease of 5 new vehicles including a 2009 Ford Explorer
WHEREAS, Council deems it in the best interest of the City to authorize the City Manager to utilize the 2009 Ford Explorer as his designated vehicle instead of purchasing or leasing another vehicle;
COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF NEWTON FALLS, STATE OF OHIO, HEREBY RESOLVES:
SECTION I: Pursuant to the City Manager’s contract, Council hereby designates the 2009 Ford Explorer as the City Manager’s vehicle;
SECTION II: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
